Miami Dolphins (6-8) vs. Buffalo Bills (5-9)

The Dolphins beat the Jaguars 24-3 in Miami last weekend to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.  The Bills got punished 50-17 in Toronto against the Seahawks last weekend.  The Bills beat the Dolphins 19-14 just five weeks ago in Buffalo, but a lot has changed since then.  Here is a look at the matchups in this game:

When the Dolphins have the ball:  The Dolphins are going to come out running the ball with Reggie Bush and Lamar Miller against a Bills’ D that is allowing 144.1 yards rushing per game and 5.1 yards per carry so far this year.  A good running game will likely slow the Bills’ pass rush and give Ryan Tannehill a shot to get the ball down the field to WRs Davone Bess, Brian Hartline and TE Anthony Fasano.  I think Tannehill’s going to build off of last week’s game against the Jaguars and have another solid game this weekend.

When the Bills have the ball:  The Bills are going to try to run the ball with C.J. Spiller to set up the passing game.  The Fins are going to go all out in trying to slow down Spiller and force the Bills to try to beat them by throwing the ball.  Ryan Fitzpatrick tends to make the big mistake when pressured and OLB Cameron Wake is going to be in his face quite a bit in this game.  I also look for the Bills to double team WR Steve Johnson and force Fitzpatrick to beat them by throwing the ball to someone else.

PREDICTION:  DOLPHINS 20, BILLS 17
